Read it:
Nicaragua, 1972 to 2026. A Managua clinic, reported to be partly owned by the dictator's family, bought the blood of the poor for export. Six vans painted as a Mexican television crew carried 9.2 million dollars across the border. A president convicted of laundering in 2003 had his conviction annulled in 2009. Venezuelan oil credit passed into companies outside the budget, and a fuel chain bought with it ended up, the US Treasury says, with the ruling family. A government charged newspaper executives with laundering, while beef from illegally cleared forest and gold went north. Covers Anastasio Somoza Debayle and the Plasmaféresis clinic, Arnoldo Alemán and Byron Jerez, Henry Fariñas and the Élite clubs, Daniel Ortega and Rosario Murillo with Albanisa, Caruna and DNP, and Bayardo Arce.
